European Traditional Sports and Games Association 

AEJeST, as the European Traditional Sports and Games Association, represents a network of TSG federations and associations as well as universities and museums active in the field of TSG. The activity of AEJeST is the organisation, in cooperation with the members, of Gatherings, festivals, Seminars, congresses, symposiums, Project of researches, cultural exchanges, at the level of European regions, at the national level, or at the international one.

DIOGENIS
SERRES FIGHTING CLUB

Is a wrestling association/sports club with over 180 members, based in the city of Serres, Greece. The association was established in 1988 with the aim to promote and disseminate wrestling in all its forms (traditional wrestling - freestyle and Greco-Roman Olympic wrestling, sand wrestling - hand wrestling, etc.)
From 2010 onwards, the Club has been co-organizing national wrestling championships in the city of Serres, as well as numerous traditional wrestling festivals in northern Greece. Aside from its athletic experience, the Club is active in voluntary activities in the field of youth, health and local development.

KALA DENTRA
WRESTLING CLUB

Is a wrestling association/sports club with over 160 members, based in the prefecture of Serres, Greece. The Club was established in 1988 with the aim to promote and disseminate wrestling in all its forms (traditional wrestling - freestyle and Greco-Roman Olympic wrestling, sand wrestling - hand wrestling, etc.) The Club’s athletes are distinguished in various national and international wrestling Championships. In the past seven years, the lead applicant has been co-organising National Wrestling Championships.

University of Leon

The University of Leon is the scientific partner of the project with the AEJeST. Many years of work have been dedicated to academic research in the field of TSG, which translated into numerous publications, especially on traditional wrestling.
The University of León is a relatively young institution that was founded in 1979. However, it has already achieved significant prestige as an academic institution in Spain. The university is based on two campuses in the cities of León and Ponferrada in northern Spain, and hosts more than 16,000 students. The university offers 38 first degrees and more than 30 postgraduate qualifications. These range from traditional degrees in English and Spanish to more technical courses such as the master’s in aerospace or renewable energies. The university also offers a wide range of degree courses that are based in the area of earth sciences, such as veterinary science, biology and agricultural studies. The University of León includes among its centers the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, formerly the National Institute of Physical Education (INEF) of the Community of Castilla y León.

Asociația Română a Jocurilor si Sporturilor Tradiționale

Romanian Traditional Sports and Games Organisation is a national and non-profit organisation, which was registered in Romania in February, 2017. Its purpose is to perform specific activities in order to recover, to preserve, to develop, to research and to promote traditional games and sports, a lot of games for children, practicable at a local or international level. The Federation’s main purpose is to perform these traditional games and sports both in homeland and abroad.

Vitez Šabac
Wrestling club

Wrestling Club Vitez was founded in 2007 and currently has about 60 members. The association is based in Sabac, Serbia, and mainly deals with Olympic disciplines such as Greco-Roman style, freestyle, women's wrestling and also non-Olympic ones such as beach wrestling and traditional Serbian wrestling. From 2007 to 2019 the club’s competitors won 687 medals, including medals from national, Balkan and European championships. The partner has organized several national championships and national cups, the First Wrestling League play-offs, and is the traditional organizers of the national beach wrestling championship as well as the organizers of traditional Serbian wrestling competitions within the Šabac village Olympic Games.
